Let's face it, self-confidence doesn't come easily to everyone, particularly if you're naturally self-critical. Low self-confidence can be self-destructive and it may manifest as negativity.  Self-confidence is vital in every aspect of our lives, yet many people struggle to find it. Sadly, this can be a vicious cycle: people who lack self-confidence are less likely to achieve the success that could give them more confidence. 


Confident people are generally more positive -- they value themselves & trust their own judgement. But they also acknowledge their mistakes and learn from them.  When you feel confident in yourself, you're able to devote your resources to the task at hand. Rather than waste time/energy worrying that you aren't good enough, you devote your energy to your efforts. So ultimately, you perform better when you feel confident. 


Here are 5 proven ways to boost your self-confidence: 


Stay Away from Negativity & Bring on the Positivity: Get rid of those negative voices in your head. Distance yourselves from those Debbie Downers and Negative Nancy's. Interacting with positive energies can instill confidence in yourself. 

Change your Body Language & Image:  Just the act of pulling your shoulders back gives others the impression you are a confident person. Smiling will not only make you feel better but will instill confidence in yourself. Speak slowly and clearly; research shows those who take the time to speak slowly feel and appear more self-confident to others 

️Don't Accept Failure: Never give up. Never accept failure. There is always a solution. Make this your new mantra.

Be Prepared:  If you are prepared, and have the knowledge to back it up, your self-confidence will soar.

For Tough Times create a list of Accomplishments & Things in your Life you are Thankful For: If you feel your self-confidence dwindling, take a look at that list and you will feel inspired by your own actions. This is an instant method to boost your self-confidence.
